David Cawley

CINEMATOGRAPHER

David Cawley is a Cinematographer based in London.

After leaving art school, David spent his formative years shooting music videos and short films.

This soon led to feature films, such as The Insatiable Moon, shot in New Zealand, and Shine, starring Musetta Vander.

Most recently, David has shot two new features, To A Cinder, and the documentary, Bapsi: The Silences of My Life. Both of which are now in post-production for release later this year.

David came to our project through the BAFTA Crew scheme he is currently on, that harnesses and supports the next generation of talent.

Working alongside our other Cinematographer, and our underwater camera team, they established an aesthetic partnership throughout the shoot of Sonar.
