COMPOSER

Victoria Wijeratne is a Composer based in London.
She specialises in high end film productions, combining her own unique experimental style with contemporary, minimal classical elements of film music scoring. She has won numerous awards already for these original scores, including Best Composer at the BAFTA Qualifying Underwire Film Festival.
This led her to the scoring of her first feature film, The Liability, starring Tim Roth, Peter Mullan, and Jack O’Connell.
Victoria was invited to Berlinale Talents, that searches for the next generation of talents. Her presence here saw Victoria go on to score two feature documentaries, Hong Kong Roof Top Rebels, and 69, the latter of which premiered at Tate Britain.
With this impressive resume, Victoria was then accepted onto the University of Edinburgh’s MSc in Composition for Screen, where she graduated with a Master of Science With Merit.
Victoria has now delivered a beautiful original score for Sonar, for its release later this year.
